Its spring break at our seminary and a small group of us have chosen to spend it in New Orleans. We will be working with St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church who have developed an outreach called Rhino (Rebuilding Hope In New Orleans). For some in our group traveling to New Orleans has become a pilgrimage. For others its their first time in the crescent city. Our plan is to work hard, connect with people, and go Gumbo ya-ya in the Bayou.

We have been picturing you as we pray for you; now we are seeing you! Many thanks for the bridges you are building among the New Orleans folk and for the ties you are strengtheing between the Charlotte and Richmond campuses. Traveling mercies as you head home.
